Saher Bajwa is a community organizer, fashion scholar, and advocate for indigenous knowledge systems at the intersection of fashion and ecological justice. Her research spans the exploration of indigenous textiles and fashion’s role in anarchical, agrarian, and decolonial movements under an ecofeminist lens. Beyond her work with artisan communities she leads grassroots efforts through Woven Riot, a collective cultivating fashion as a local practice of care, mutual-aid, and environmental stewardship. For her, fashion is not just an industry; it’s a movement.
