Raquel Willis is an award-winning activist, journalist, and media strategist, recognized for her work in advancing LGBTQ+ rights, particularly for Black trans people. She is the author of the memoir “The Risk It Takes to Bloom: On Life and Liberation” and has held significant roles in various organizations, including Out magazine and the Transgender Law Center.

The majority of us know that the personal is political, like it or not.

We the majority want, simply: Freedom. Freedom to be, do, say, worship, and love whoever, whatever and however we want. A Fair Deal. A Functioning Society. It’s not to much to demand.
