maya finoh is a political educator, writer, model, and cultural worker dedicated to the liberation of the global Black/African diaspora. maya has been featured and quoted in various publications and media platforms including Dazed, Nylon, The Intercept, Refinery29, Teen Vogue, VICE, and Them for their critical approach to human rights advocacy or their unique perspective on fashion and beauty politics. A Slow Factory 2023 Fellow, maya is currently based in Brooklyn, New York (Canarsee Lenape land).
