Yasmine Hamdan is a renowned Lebanese singer, songwriter, and actress, widely considered an icon of underground Arabic electronic music. She co-founded the pioneering indie band Soapkills in Beirut before moving to Paris, establishing a modern sound blending Arabic vocals with electro-pop and folk, notably featured in Jim Jarmusch’s film Only Lovers Left Alive.
