Rojin Namer

Rojin Namer, is a Syrian-Kurdish poet and writer based in Berlin. A student of rehabilitation studies, she works closely with refugees, drawing from both professional engagement and lived experience. Having sought refuge twice, her writing moves through exile, displacement, and search for belonging.

Everything Is Political

The majority of us know that the personal is political, like it or not.

We the majority want, simply: Freedom. Freedom to be, do, say, worship, and love whoever, whatever and however we want. A Fair Deal. A Functioning Society. It’s not to much to demand.
