Patricia Duggan

Patricia “Pat” Duggan (she/her) is a Black, disabled, neurodivergent therapist and founder of the Liberatory Wellness Network - a growing healing directory and community space grounded in decolonial, anti-carceral, and anti-capitalist care. Rooted in North Carolina with Afro-Caribbean ancestry, Pat’s work weaves together clinical wisdom with political analysis, anti-colonial frameworks, radical mental health, somatics, and systems-level thinking.

She challenges traditional models that pathologize difference, instead centering community care, ancestral knowledge, and collective liberation. Passionate about reimagining mental health beyond state-sanctioned frameworks, Pat invites therapists and healers to confront how neutrality, compliance, and professionalism often act as vehicles for systemic harm. Her work is an invitation - to unlearn, to re-member, and to build healing that refuses to be co-opted.
