Isabella Daou

Isabella Daou is a Lebanese-Dutch community educator and researcher with a decade of experience organizing against border violence and advocating for the rights of refugees and migrants. Her work and studies in international human rights law center a decolonial feminist framework to the politics of migration, grassroots resistance and reparative justice. She has also worked seasonally as a shepherd in Corsica, bridging her love for the land with traditional ecological practices.

Everything Is Political

The majority of us know that the personal is political, like it or not.

We the majority want, simply: Freedom. Freedom to be, do, say, worship, and love whoever, whatever and however we want. A Fair Deal. A Functioning Society. It’s not to much to demand.
