Darine Hotait is a Lebanese-American writer and film director based in New York City. Her films have been featured on The New Yorker, HBO, BBC, and Sundance Channel, and screened at international film festivals. Her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in Mizna, Red Hen Press, The Seventh Wave, Rusted Radishes, Blindspot, and Angle Mort. She is the recipient of numerous honors, including a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship, the Jerome Foundation Award, and the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture Grant.
