Conchita Hernandez Legorreta

Hernandez Legorreta was born in Mexico and grew up in California. She is the founder of METAS, a non-profit organization that trains educators in Latin America who work with blind/low-vision students and students with other disabilities. Conchita is also a co-founder of the National Coalition of Latinx with Disabilities that seeks to amplify the voices of disabled Latinx in the disability rights movement

The majority of us know that the personal is political, like it or not.

We the majority want, simply: Freedom. Freedom to be, do, say, worship, and love whoever, whatever and however we want. A Fair Deal. A Functioning Society. It’s not to much to demand.
