Polina Osipova

Polina Osipova is a Russian multidisciplinary artist and designer from Cheboksary, in the Chuvash Republic. Drawing on her Chuvash heritage, she explores themes of ancestry, memory, and cultural resistance. Through traditional techniques such as embroidery and textile work, Osipova reinterprets indigenous narratives, weaving together folklore with contemporary issues like surveillance and digital identity.

The majority of us know that the personal is political, like it or not.

We the majority want, simply: Freedom. Freedom to be, do, say, worship, and love whoever, whatever and however we want. A Fair Deal. A Functioning Society. It’s not to much to demand.
