Misha Japanwala

Misha Japanwala is a Pakistani visual artist and fashion designer, born in London and raised in Karachi. Her work confronts societal taboos around bodily autonomy, gender-based violence, and the politicization of women’s bodies. Through a powerful blend of sculpture, fashion, and activism, Japanwala challenges patriarchal norms and reclaims ownership of the female form.

We the majority want, simply: Freedom. Freedom to be, do, say, worship, and love whoever, whatever and however we want. A Fair Deal. A Functioning Society. It’s not to much to demand.
