Koteka Wenda

Koteka Lali Kuragan Wenda is a Lani and Dani hubula storyteller, cultural performer, and spokesperson for the Free West Papua Campaign. In the early 2000s, her family fled to the United Kingdom to escape persecution due to her father’s involvement in the West Papuan Independence struggle, and they have been living in exile in London since.

Everything Is Political

The majority of us know that the personal is political, like it or not.

We the majority want, simply: Freedom. Freedom to be, do, say, worship, and love whoever, whatever and however we want. A Fair Deal. A Functioning Society. It’s not to much to demand.
