My name is Hassan Herzallah, a Palestinian writer and freelance translator based in Gaza. My work has appeared in international outlets such as Middle East Eye, London Review of Books, The Nation, Electronic Intifada, and New Lines Magazine, and has been translated into multiple languages. Everything Is Political

The majority of us know that the personal is political, like it or not.

We the majority want, simply: Freedom. Freedom to be, do, say, worship, and love whoever, whatever and however we want. A Fair Deal. A Functioning Society. It’s not to much to demand.
