Marwan Kaabour

Marwan Kaabour is a queer Lebanese linguistic visionary whose work has paved the way for queer Arabs to name themselves and celebrate their own diversity. He is a multidisciplinary graphic designer and artist, and founder of Takweer. Kabbour has also designed the much-celebrated Rihanna book, which was a Time magazine Best Photo Book of 2019. His work and words have been featured in the New York Times, Gay Times, Evening Standard and L’Orient-Le Jour, among others.

The majority of us know that the personal is political, like it or not.

We the majority want, simply: Freedom. Freedom to be, do, say, worship, and love whoever, whatever and however we want. A Fair Deal. A Functioning Society. It’s not to much to demand.
