Lorén Medina is a Palestinian / Cuban / Colombian publicist, professor and philanthropist based in Los Angeles who currently owns Guerrera Marketing & PR and the NGO, Travel With Purpose. Aside from working in music for over 24 years, Loren has a deep passion for philanthropy and activism. In 2014, she launched her NGO and has worked on financially empowering young girls and women around the globe who are oppressed and marginalized. Currently, TWP has an ongoing scholarship fund that financially assists young women of color in college currently living in the U.S. Through her foundation, she has also raised funds and worked directly with girls who were victims of sex trafficking in Cambodia and the Philippines, impoverished women in Haiti, Palestinian refugees in Egypt and Syrian refugees in Jordan. Up next she will be spearheading a 3-part series called Liberación Collective to educate, fundraise and build connective tissue amongst several communities in LA to aid NGOs on the ground in Gaza, Congo, Lebanon, Sudan, local Native American tribes and migrants in the US.
