Nadia Irshaid Gilbert, a Palestinian-American storyteller, artist, and chef, aims to provoke collective liberation in all she does. Drawing from her rich Palestinian roots and her connections to the American South, Nadia infuses her projects with radical compassion, ancestral teachings, devotional practice, and a keen sense of cultural bridging. Over the last ten years, her work has evolved from serving as a Director of Photography to producing and hosting a cooking show. She creates immersive culinary experiences rooted in Palestinian diasporic cuisine, with a hyper-seasonal focus. Her work delves into the intricate relationships we have with the plants and animals we consume, the land we inhabit, our ancestral lines, and the people in our immediate and global community.
